Bikeability Level 1 – Children’s Cycle lessons in Farnham

Would you like your child to improve their cycling skills in the forest and a traffic free environment? We are pleased to have teamed up with On Your Bike Cycle Training. 

offer Bike Ability Level 1 training on Wednesday 24 August. Designed for those children who may have been on a bike before but are a bit wobbly when riding. There are 3 sessions available each 1.5 hour long and a maximum of 12 children per session. Sessions will include:

• - Getting on your bike, starting cycling, then stopping and getting off
• - Make your bike go where you want it to, including moving around objects safely
• - Stop quickly if you need to
• - Look all around you when you’re riding, including behind without wobbling
• - Signal if you’re turning right and left, without wobbling
• - Ride your bike using the gears
• - Give your bike a simple check to ensure it is roadworthy

Session times will be
Wednesday 24 August

• 1030-1200
• 1300-1430
• 1500-1630

Cost £10.00 per person
Parents with children under 6 are advised to stay for the session.

If you need to hire a bike to attend the session we have a few children’s bikes on site. This will be an additional cost and booked directly with our bike hire company on site. Please contact [email protected] to book these.
