FREE Geocaching

FREE You just need a device with GPS, download the App and off you go treasure hunting.  bring a pen/pencil and maybe a little token to leave at the cache (badges and bottoms are a good option)

Why not take some trinkets to pop in the boxes you find? Rubbers, badges and stickers are a cute option.

Our Summer Skate Workshops return for 2024. Skate Waverley is back for Summer 2021! Skate Waverley offers the opportunity for young people to get free skateboard coaching.

Be part of this nationwide survey and help take the pulse of nature. Butterfly declines reveal the poor health of the environment. We need your sightings 12th July

Frensham pond is very popular, the carpark is owned by the national trust and needs paying for. if it is full then please find somewhere else to play, as the beach will be full. You can always try the Little pond or Waverley abbey

SUMMER READING CHALLENGE

A fabulously fun way to encourage children aged 4 to 11 to read during the summer when reading skills can otherwise take a nose-dive. running in all 3 counties, so pop down to your local library.

Festival of Archaeology Devils punchbowl- Hindhead

Join us as we discuss recent research into RAF Gibbet Hill and the role this area of Surrey played during the Second World War. Please wear sturdy shoes and expect to walk a distance of up to 2 miles, over some rough ground.

FREE Frimley Lodge park (inc pitch and putt)

Frimley Lodge Park is a 24 hectare site that was saved from development in the mid 1980's. There is a free car park and it boasts great facilties including Pitch and Putt, Large sand play park and adventure play ground, Football pitches, Cricket Pitches, Child and Dog Friendly Cafe "Pistachios in the park" and BBQ hire. The Miniture railway is currentlynot operating due to social distancing restrictions.

Yateley common

With heathlands, woodlands and ponds, Yateley Common offers a variety of experiences to visitors. You can walk, cycle and horse ride through 193 hectares of varied and wildlife rich surroundings. The Common also offers visitors the opportunity to fish, bird watch, and get involved in practical conservation through volunteering.

Waverley Abbey is a lovely place to bring the family for a picnic or walk. The ruins are really interesting and the views are beautiful.

Silchester - Roman City Walls And Amphitheatre

This is a great place to visit if your child is learning about the Romans. We visited when my Son was doing a KS2 topic on the romans, It is a great place for opening up discussion and imagining what it must have been like to live during the time of the Romans and Iron age occupation.. You have to pay for carparking!
