Meet the folk that fight the fires!
Clamber into the cab of a fire engine or take a closer look at one of the off-road vehicles Surrey Fire & Rescue Service use locally (subject to availability). Come and meet the crews and see what new technology they’re using to fight and investigate wildfires.
FIND US: This event will be signposted from the Six Crossroads car park on Shores Road, nearest postcode GU21 4HN. What3Words: armed.traded.half. Look out for our “This Way” signs. Free parking available. See map below.
FREE. Suitable for all, especially families with school age children. Drop-in anytime between 11am and 2pm. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
Heath Week 2024 with Thames Basin heaths
Between 29th July to Sunday 4th August enjoy a range of free activities across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. Activities include butterfly walks, Wild fire prevention workshops, amphibian and reptile days and much more.
