Survival Fun Primary Science Holiday Camp - Alton

Sessions run from 10am to 3pm each day, wrap-around child care is available from 9am-10am and 3pm-4pm each day for an additional £3.50/hour.

 

 

Science Holiday camps Week 1

cientific fun from 16th to 8th August.. We will be doing lots of hands on science with each day based around a different theme. Each day also includes making something to take home.

Day 1, 6th August – Chemical Changes Making all sorts of things that involve chemical changes including elephant toothpaste, slime and volcanoes. In the afternoon we will become detectives and use some science to investigate a crime scene!

 

Day 2, 7th August – Forces and Rockets Exploring different kinds of rockets as well as boats and hot air balloons.

 

Day 3, 8th August – Survival Science Lots of outdoor fun with nature and learning some survival skills!

Science Holiday camps Week 2

Day 1, 13th August – Physical Changes Lots of fun with ooblek, bubbles, lava lamps and a mentos explosion!

 

Day 2, 14th August – Slime and Polymers Glow in the dark, fluffy and scented slime as well as exploring orbeez and polymorph!

 

Day 3, 15th August – Electricity and Magnets Loads of fun with magnets, electrical circuits, hair raising on the Van de Graaf and electrical play dough!
