Join our wardens and the Hart District Council rangers on a free guided walk around one of the rarest habitats in the world! Learn about the magical nature and wildlife of the heath and the fascinating history of this beautiful place.
FIND US: The walk will start at Hazeley Heath near Hartley Wintney, nearest postcode RG27 8TS. Exact meeting point confirmed on booking. Free parking available.
FREE. Suitable for all ages and anyone able to negotiate heathland paths and tackle a reasonably steep descent and ascent. Not suitable for pushchairs or mobility scooters. No dogs please.
Heath Week 2024 with Thames Basin heaths
Between 29th July to Sunday 4th August enjoy a range of free activities across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. Activities include butterfly walks, Wild fire prevention workshops, amphibian and reptile days and much more.
