Heath Week Herbivores - Whitmoor Common
Grazing is amazing! Livestock are a common sight on the heaths, so come to meet our wardens and hear about the benefits of grazing with animals such as cattle, sheep, goats and ponies.
Mini-guided walks will leave the car park at 11am and 1pm. Short walks of approx. half an hour in small groups. Or step into our arts & crafts gazebo and colour in a ‘Beltie’.
FIND US: This event will be held near the Salt Box Road Car Park, Salt Box Road, Guildford, Surrey GU3 3LH. What3Words: meant.themes.rugs. Free parking available.
FREE. Suitable for all, especially families with school age children. Drop-in anytime between 10am and 2pm. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
Heath Week 2024 with Thames Basin heaths
Between 29th July to Sunday 4th August enjoy a range of free activities across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. Activities include butterfly walks, Wild fire prevention workshops, amphibian and reptile days and much more.
