Meet Wardens Rupert, Tim & Ben to discover the history and benefits of grazing the heaths with cattle, goats, ponies & sheep. There’ll be free half hour guided walks to meet any livestock currently grazing and/or discuss how the animals benefit the heathland habitat.
Mini-guided walks will leave the car park at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. Short walks of approx half an hour in small groups.
FIND US: We’ll be set up near Salt Box Road Car Park at Whitmoor Common. See map.
FREE. Suitable for all, especially families with school age children. Drop-in anytime between 11am and 2pm. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
