Victoria Day in Aldershot
Get ready for Victoria Day in Aldershot town centre on Saturday, June 6th, from 10 am to 4 pm! This year's theme is 'Wonderful Water', so expect a day full of aquatic fun.
The ' fairy‑tale spectacle,' carnival parade promises to be bigger and more vibrant than ever, featuring amazing with dazzling costumes and fairy‑tale‑inspired characters. Led by Aldershot's own Queen Victoria, Betty Bryce, the parade of over 1,000 local participants will depart from Princes Hall at 11 am and conclude at the Naafi roundabout.
From 10 am to 4 pm, Union Street, Wellington Street, and Princes Gardens will be buzzing with free activities, craft and community stalls, fair rides, live entertainment, and tasty food and drinks.
In Princes Gardens, enjoy live music, dance performances, and workshops at the bandstand throughout the day. There will also be animal-themed crafts, silly street theatre, fair rides, a circus skills area, aerial performers near Princes Gardens Surgery, and a small classic car display in Princes Way starting at 12:30 pm.
