Why not come along and join Thames Basin Heaths Partnership Education Officer, Michael, to celebrate the return of our fantastic European Nightjars? These amazing birds, steeped in folklore, fly all the way from Africa to nest on our local heaths. It’s a wildlife spectacle not to be missed! As the sun goes down, the magic begins…

Heath Week 2024 with Thames Basin heaths

Between 29th July to Sunday 4th August enjoy a range of free activities across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.  Activities include butterfly walks, Wild fire prevention workshops, amphibian and reptile days and much more.
