Water Sports Multi Activity Day in Hawley

On the 29th and 30th August, we have 2 fun days planned for Teens and tweens, A full day of Sailing, Kayaking and Paddleboarding.  Perfect for getting children off the screens and having some fun on the water.  Why not see if a friend would like to join them so they can meet up before school goes back!

The course runs 10am to 4pm.  We have all the kit the children require, you just need to bring your children lunch/water and a change of clothes (maybe a towel if they need a shower).

This is a great opportunity for your child to try out the activities.  If they enjoy the day, there are also youth sailing courses running in the Autumn.

Hawley Lake is just off of junction 4a on the M3 (put crown and cushion pub in your satnav and navigate from there).

Hawley Lake RYA Training centre

Hawley Lake Sailing club is a beautiful venue nestled inside Hawley woods, just a 2min drive from the M3 Junction 4a,

They provide a number of different Junior Sailing courses for both members and non members. They run Childrens Sailing Youth clubs, Adult sailing membership and races. A great social atmosphere to the club too.

You can use your own kit or purchase a pass to either their sailing dinghies or kayaks.

They also are the main venue for local clubs and classes including scouts / guides / cadets and a number of adult social groups too.

Sailing courses

We offer a range of courses for Youth and Adults. The Youth sailing courses are a great way to get children aged 8yrs+ out on the water in a safe environment.

Kayaking/Canoeing

Quietly paddle around the tranquil lake in your own kayak or canoe. A great balance of relaxation and healthy activity that you can do here or anywhere with access to water. We run a range of courses to help you gain the skills to handle your chosen craft.
