Come and enjoy a festive treat for your children. Escape from the real world at a creative family workshop where your Mini-Maker can make a fun wooden character or car. Your child will use their creativity and imagination to build their own unique wooden character or scrappy racer car in our proper woodworking workshop in Crondall. Suitable for children aged 5 and up, our Mini-Maker sessions are a non-digital escape from everyday life that will encourage creativity and teach your children hands-on skills in a safe environment. Under current regulations, places are limited to five 'bubble' bench spaces per session spaced out across the workshop.Each bench space is for one mini-maker (£24.95) or two mini-makers (£39.95) over 5yrs with one supervising adult.

Make at Home Kits
For children and adults to enjoy making together, these kits are a little bit of the Ash & Co. Workshop, lovingly created for you to build at home. Choose from a car kit or a character kit! There are also Halloween add ons for this half term, so you can give your creations a spooky twist!

Looking for something different and exciting for your child’s next birthday party? Then check out our Mini-Maker Parties and come and make something awesome!
Suitable for ages 5+, we can host a totally unique creative party where kids build their very own wooden characters or cars in our workshop.
You will enjoy your own dedicated workbench within one of our mini-maker sessions. We will decorate your bench and provide special party-themed accessories for each mini-maker. Plus we'll include a free gift for the birthday girl or boy - one of our lovely handmade wooden mallets worth £20.
You have the choice of start times from 10am or 1pm on most Saturdays (your party needs to be on a day that we are already running mini-maker workshops). To ensure safety and make sure the children get the most from their time in the workshop, adult helpers are required and expected to get stuck in!
The ratios needed for a successful workshop are:
Ages 5 - 7 = at least one adult to two children
Ages 8+ = at least one adult to three children
Please note that we no longer have the 'party room' and do not offer catering any more. Food - including cake - is not allowed to be consumed in the workshop as wood dust, filings and other small parts may cause a health & safety risk and is not allowed under our insurance terms.
