MeetspaceVR is a video game entertainment centre that brings the best-of-breed virtual reality experiences. 

there are 3 main areas

1. the big walk around arena. where you have space to roam your VR worlds. perfect for groups and parties.

2. the VR Arcade area, where you have a selection of games or escape rooms.

3. there is also the bar, where there are some games, and Food/drink available. reserve a table for your part.

MEETSPACE VR in Guildford Review

We popped down to review the VR offering at @meetspacevrguildford in #guildford.

We came as a birthday party with three 13-year-olds, a 12-year-old and 2 adults.

We started off in the main arena and spent 30 minutes fighting zombies (terrifyingly realistic, but the birthday boy loved it). Other games are available that are not as bloodthirsty.

The graphics were great and vr kit was kept clean and wiped down between users. The main arena hall was big enough that you did not bump into each other which made the experience feel more real.

After our zombie battle, we stopped for a pizza lunch. We had 3 freshly cooked 12inch gluten-free pizzas for the 6 of us. There was plenty of food with snacks and drinks. The pizza was really tasty, and the kids all enjoyed it, I would have preferred the top to be cooked a bit longer but that is just my preference.

We chilled out in the dartboard area with the arcade game in. There were a number of parties taking place so table space was limited (bistro tables outside would have been lovely on such a nice day).

We then went upstairs to enjoy an hour in the VR arcade area where we flipped burgers, played some archery games and fought more zombies. We could bring our drinks into the gaming rooms which was handy as it does get a bit warm when you're dashing about.

The kids all had such a lovely time. The space in this VR centre is great. The big hall gives much more space for play. and the smaller rooms meant you can run some less energetic games with a bit more privacy.

Highly recommend for a kids birthday, and also for rainy day fun. I think this venue would also be great for a youth club drop-in session too.

The staff at the centre were so attentive, we all felt looked after, and the sessions ran very smoothly.
