We are delighted that the easing of restrictions means that Music in the Meadow can return to its usual Sunday afternoon slot from 2 August.
The first band to head up the six-week season of concerts is the A Train who will perform material from artists such as Fleetwood Mac and Bob Marley.
Various measures have been put in place to make the event COVID secure. Numbers are strictly limited, and you will need to pre-book a bubble for your group so that social distancing can be maintained.

Entry is still of course FREE, but due to COVID we are limiting entry and encouraging you to 'book a bubble' via 'Eventbrite' in advance. The link to registering is below.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

BUBBLES:
One of the main measures we are taking to make this event as safe as possible is to give each group their own 'socially distanced' space. We are creating 3 different sized bubbles (for 2, 4 and 6) sprayed onto the ground.

TICKETS: We strongly advise groups to register their bubble in advance. This will speed up entry and help with track and trace. On arrival, present your ticket on your phone (or printed), and a marshal will direct you to the are of your bubble size. You can choose your bubble. It is advisable to leave something on the bubble (that has no value, as we can't accept liability for loss) if you leave it to go to the park or get a drink or an Ice cream.

If there are any spare 'bubbles' that haven't been pre-registered we will be able to allow entry on the day to groups of people (maximum of 6 per group), although we are limiting the amount of bubbles.

ARRIVAL: Park opens at 1pm. Music starts at 3pm. Arrive via the Memorial entrance on South Street (this is to avoid queuing roadside). All of your bubble MUST arrive at the same time as the ticket holder. Your space will be reserved until 4pm. If you have not arrived by then and there are people waiting, we will give your space away.

Please do not mix with other bubbles, let’s keep it safe and have a good time!
