At the Forest Approach in Hartley Wintney, Hook, we strive to provide a hands-on approach for our children to thrive. When children are engaged, they learn, and their brains grow. When they are in a state of deep involvement, instead of rushing children through their targets and stages of development, we believe and trust that children progress at their own pace and in their own unique way. We want to work in partnership with them to facilitate & support them, letting them pursue their interests & curiosity and enabling them to create their world.
We provide an environment where every child can be involved in whatever interests them; the staff will join in with this and move their learning forward.

The Original party
Workshop for a group with the Forest Leader only. Up to 15 children with a Level 3 Forest School trained leader. A typical nature outside workshop will start with a selection of age-appropriate outdoor games. We will start our craft activities such as clay animals or faces, leaf pictures or leaf wreaths, or painting stones (age appropriate to workshop). There are three types of workshops -ask for details. (Minimum 8 children start at £160 for 2 hours and include all games and other entertainment and craft resources for all the children).
For an addition £2.50 each child can also have a hotdog.

Free slow
Each Play area will be ready with resources to enhance their play; for example, potions and flowers will be added to the mud kitchen. Treasure will be added to the gold mine, tables will be organised for free-flow activities such as clay, woodwork, etc., and staff will facilitate and enhance their play experience.

Parent & Children Workshop
This hands-on party workshop will be organised like the “Original Workshop” and run for 2hours. There will be available for up 10 children and 10 adults (minimum 8 children ). Each child will be £20 and parents ( We will provide Covid-safe environment)
