As children begin to walk confidently, they progress into the Walking – 2 Years gymnastics class. Tumble Tots staff actively work with parents to provide activities that will introduce the confident walker to more advanced physical skills such as climbing, jumping, rolling amongst many other elementary physical activities. With so much energy the children begin the class by going straight onto the equipment which is laid out in a circuit formation. This allows for the children to learn at their own pace and where necessary repeat an activity in order to build their individual physical confidence. Co-ordination equipment is also available throughout the class to assist with the development of your child’s hand/eye and hand/foot co-ordination skills. At this stage of a child’s development, we recognise the importance to provide an environment where continued language development is offered. Through carefully constructed Circle Times, children are given the opportunity to join in with Body Identification Rhymes to enhance their limited and ever-growing vocabulary along with exciting Action Songs!
