Personally as there are water rides I like to pack a pocket poncho and a towelling poncho for them to slip on after the rides. My children are all starwars mad so these are the ones they like :D If you put everything in a waterproof bag, they can carry it all themselves even on the rides.
we also pack a picnic to reduce costs a bit
