Pole sessions are an accessable fitness choice for eveveryone. It is a great way to make friends and keep ontop of your exercise goals. Our flexible times mean you can choose earny morning, late morning of evening slots too.
Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking – it makes something we can all do… twice as effective! Nordic Walking uses poles to in order to add two major benefits to walking
Nordic Walking is a specific fitness technique and is not to be confused with trekking, hill walking or trail running as the poles are not planted in front of the walker/runner but in a specific way that increases the use of the upper body. It can be done by anybody, anywhere and does not require expensive equipment or clothing.
On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings I run ‘Rise and shine’ early pole workout sessions from 0730-0830 @ £5 per session . Wednesday evening is an adventure walk ‘if you go down to the woods today ..’ 1830 - 2000 @ £7 per session. Thursday eve is ‘Go Norse in the gorse ‘ a faster paced off road adventure walk @£7 , currently at Brentmoor Heath but locations will rotate Friday morning at 11 are alternating walks called ‘pub lunch Friday ‘ . The one incorporating the swan is from 11-1 as we stop en-route , the other with the Hare &’hounds is 11-1230 with pub after as optional I put on the 90 min Power of Poles classes (which are required before booking other sessions) as and when new joiners wish @ £15 each .
