Ash Parish Christmas Fantasia

The proceedings will start at 1:00pm with the opening of the Christmas Fayre in the Ash Centre. This year admission to the fayre is FREE. The official opening ceremony will be performed by the Chairman of Ash Parish Council, Cllr Fiona White

The Fayre will have many varied stalls, including jewellery stalls, hand made gift stalls, games and much much more. The Fayre will continue throughout the afternoon until 6:00pm.

From 4:30pm there will be Carol Singing, with music provided by the Ash Ensemble and St Peter’s Church Choir and St Mary’s Church Choir providing the vocals, around the Christmas Tree on Ash Wharf. At 5:00pm Father Christmas will arrive to switch on the Christmas tree Lights and also to distribute sweets to the children gathered around the tree.

Following the light switching on ceremony everyone is invited back to the Ash Centre for mulled wine and mince pies.

Christmas 2024 is well on its way.  The Christmas lights are being turned on, and local shopping and events are starting.
