Scouts Challenge - Paddle the Amazon in July

The UK scouts have set a challenge for Cubs, Scouts and explorers to paddle the length of the Amazon River this July.

To take part follow the link to register below, and then ask your leader for a discount code from Horse shoe lake in Sandhurst which will let your scout hire a Kayak or paddleboard for just £5 on any time their casual hire is open. Your scout leader can contact Ben on [email protected] to request a discount code for their scout group. The code can be used for 1 scout and 1 adult to accompany them.

Clip and Climb - Fleet

Clip and Climb in Fleet can offer scout and Uniform group packages for time on the climbing walls and then a snack/food in their cafe.

Explore Adventure £10 Summer/ Winter deal

Spend an evening on the water kayaking at Explore for just £10 per child. To ensure every child makes the most of their session, groups are normally split into two with each half spending an hour on the water (max 16 children on the water). The other half can spend some time on the land taking advantage of our orienteering or obstacle courses supervised by your leaders. Camping: Stay overnight at Explore for just £4 per child. We think that the leaders do such a great job volunteering their time that they are welcome to stay free of charge!

Laser Run - Farnborough

Laser Run offer a deal of £10 for 3 laser tag games, and exclusive use of the laser tag lounge. food packages are also available.

Earleywood

Earleywood is the ideal site for many different traditional "Scouting" activities - limited only by your own resources and imagination. Here are just a few ideas to get you started - Backwoods cooking, Bivouacs, Section Activity Days, Blindfold trails, Campfire, Craft activities, Environmental activities.

We also offer orienteering (book under 'outdoor experience'), Mini Golf (Summer only), Archery, Air rifle shooting, Climbing and Crate Stacking.

Gordon Brown Centre

Children visiting the Centre receive a first class fantastic residential experience perfected over the past 40 years. Whilst at the Centre children will learn how to be brave, to play, create, explore, take risks and make new discoveries in a safe, secure and natural environment. Supported by a team of committed, caring, trained and experienced staff. Activities include laser combat, Climbing wall, Cooking, Arts & crafts, Science based sessions and lots more... Camping is also available.
