Teen Camp is aimed at those aged 11 to 14 years old, who perhaps don’t wish to spend all day at sports camp, but aren’t yet quite old enough to stay at home alone all day while their parents are at work. Teen Camp core hours will be 10am to 3pm, With options to extend from 8am to 6pm for those who need the extended childcare. Teen Camp will consist of structured activities to include sports, outdoor adventure, gaming, sports leadership training, and time spent in the fitness suite with a qualified personal trainer. 

 To support operational requirements and to encourage the growth of the club, we are now asking parents to make a block booking for the 3 day camp. We are piloting this during week 2 and week 3 of the holiday and will roll out across all remaining weeks if the demand is there. Teen Camp times are 10am to 3pm, please use the Early Drop/Late Collection options if you need wraparound care.

*Childcare extensions are available to book for any camp not operating during our standard times of 9am to 4pm. Should you need to drop your child off earlier, and/or collect them later, an additional fee of £5 per AM or PM session applies, and can be booked on the system. The AM option permits a drop off anytime from 8am onwards; the PM option permits a collection anytime up to 6pm.

**Cricket Camp – children must attend both days, booking a one day visit is not possible. Times are 10am to 3pm, please use the Childcare Extension options (see notes above) if you need wrapround care.

– All children staying a full day will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks, and a drink in a refillable bottle. Those attending a morning only session will need a snack and a drink.

– All children must dress for the weather, waterproof coats and a warm layer are always useful, as is sunscreen and a hat.

DROP OFF

Our sports camps are located at Edgbarrow Sports Centre, Grant Road, Crowthorne, RG45 7JL.

Parents/carers should drive into the site and park where you see a space.

Registration will take place inside the sports centre’s reception area. (Please do not go to the school’s main reception)

When you drop off your children you will need to sign the register.

Drop off times are 8am or 9am, depending on which session you have booked. Please do not drop off your children earlier than these times as staff will be unavailable due to preparing the site for the day’s activities. If you arrive too early you will be required to stay with your child until the team is ready.

If you arrive late, please call 07766-747932, and a member of the team will either let you in or direct you to where we are.

COLLECTION 

Parents/carers are required to collect their children from the small hall located to the left of the sports centre’s reception area at either 4pm or 6pm, depending on the session you have booked. 

WHAT TO WEAR

Trainers / Jogging bottoms or shorts and T-shirt/jumper +spare clothing should your child become wet or muddy.

FOOTBALL CAMP: We insist that children wear shin pads when we play football, so please ensure your child has a pair. Football camp takes place on astro pitches, astro boots/trainers are OK to wear, but no studded boots are allowed. Football Camp is all-weather, so please ensure your child has a waterproof coat; if the weather is particularly bad we will relocate indoors.

REFRESHMENTS

Bring a Packed lunch and 2 snacks for mid-morning/afternoon breaks, and a non-fizzy drink in their own drinks bottle. We supply water refills as required throughout the day.
