Join the regular BVCP volunteers at Rushmoor Bottom stream for some river restoration work.
Spend a day learning about river management and installing faggots and leaky dams to slow down flow. Also we'll lower a couple of existing dams to reduce the stream gradient.
All tools and light refreshments will be provided, but please ensure you have clothes and footwear (wellies!) suitable for the weather conditions.
Accompanied children are welcome. Dogs also, but on a lead please.
Meet 10am on Fleet Road A323 (just west of Potters Hotel).
No booking necessary.
Full details will be published on the BVCP website at the end of August.
