The course will briefly consider the health, wellbeing, learning and development opportunities of providing physical play opportunities for children and young people in woodlands. We will cover the health and safety considerations when evaluating building platforms and tree houses and how to balance the risks with the positive benefits and suitable controls when risk assessing
You will learn and use the appropriate knots and green wood working methods to build a simple platform in our beautiful woodland at College Copse.
Is this course for me?
This course is suitable for qualified Forest School practitioners and those currently undertaking level 3 Forest School training.

Saturday 3 August 2019 – 10 am to 3pm
Please arrive 10 minutes before the course is due to start and wait in the main reception
