Run in conjunction with National Moth Night this is an evening of moth trapping, with a number of moth traps and guidance with identification of the specimens caught and their life cycles.

You are also guaranteed some fascinating facts about these insects.

Stout footwear (wellies if wet), a torch and warm clothing are recommended.

This event is suitable for families with children but we ask that children under 16 are accompanied by an adult and dogs are kept on a lead.

Meet at 18.30 at Horton's Mound, Tice's Meadow.

Trapping will last until about 22:00 but participants are free to come and go as they like.

Booking is not required - just turn up.

Note: this event will have to be cancelled if there is rain or strong winds, so please check our website and social media.
