Secretts Pick Your Own Pumpkin Week

Come and take a leisurely stroll to our pumpkin field to select your pumpkins. Ticket price does not include your pumpkin. As always we have grown a large variety of all different shapes and sizes. Enjoy your time on our working farm and take advantage of the setting to take family pictures while you are with us.

Paint at Home Halloween pottery

Halloween is coming and what better way to celebrate than to create long lasting spooky and unique ceramic Halloween decorations for next year? A great activity to do with children during half term or all family on Halloween night! Popolo Ceramico has paint-your-own pottery takeaway boxes available for hire. The box includes your chosen ceramics (pumpkin, skull, witches’ cat, spooky castle money box etc.), paints and all equipment required to do pottery painting. We will arrange collection or delivery of your box. You can keep the box for a week. I will the personalise your ceramics if requested, glaze and fire it, and return it back to you all nice and shiny. More Info

The Fantastic World of Fungi This course takes a look at how some different types of fungi grow and work. Learn how to go about competently identifying what you've found, and how to sustainably and responsibly gather for the pot. We will share together a delicious organic & seasonal home cooked lunch around the fire and in the afternoon we will needle felt little mushrooms to take home to the nature table..

HOWL'O'WEEN Short BREAKS

Sunninghill Scarecrow Trail

A fabulous way to have a fun, half term, family activity and raise money for St Michael's CoE School PTA in Sunninghill. We have a whopping 47 Scarecrows lined up ready to go on display in half term. Many, many thanks to all the scarecrow entrants. All participants that complete the trail and work out the hidden message, have the chance to enter into a prize draw to win a £150 toy bundle.

Animal Handling Open Days

The hands on farm for all ages. Farm Open Days, Mobile Farm, On Farm Children's Parties and Red Letter Days Based at Manor Farm, just off the A30 outside Hook.

GOOD NEWS! Millars ark have reopened for prebooked ticket only open days to comply with government guidelines. Visits are time limited to an hour and a half cuddling the animals with additional time in the cafe before or after.

This means there are a limited number of people on the farm at any one time giving a better visitor experience and keeping everyone safe.

Halloween Safari At Woking Shopping

Take part in Woking Shopping’s Augmented Reality Monster Villain Trail this October.

Monster villains have been spotted in Woking Shopping and the centre is inviting young monster hunters to help track them down. The creepy trail has been set up using ‘augmented reality’ monsters which families can bring to life on their smartphones. The fun starts on 12th October through to Halloween and is helping to raise funds for Woking Shopping’s official charity of the year, Sebastian’s Action Trust.
